What's changed?

V1 was a self assembled kit that was designed to be functional but not elegant. V2.2 is fully assembled, you can change the angle without replacing parts, the parts quality is much better, and lots of design considerations have been added. It is the culmination of 12 months of development, countless design changes, hundreds of test versions, and a lot of thought. 

A lot was learned from the customers of V1 machines, and from watching others try to rip-off the design. Every piece of feedback resulted in at least one design change.

Version 2.2 of the Wollemi Opals 6" flat lap machine features higher quality 3d printing, a desk clamp, a better dripper, and variable angle so you can cut at the best angle for you. Possibly the biggest improvement is that V2.2 comes assembled. The only thing you need to do is to pop one bolt through one hole.

You will need a softdrink bottle (coke brand works best), a 5mm (or 3/16th) hex key, and a piece of standard 12.5mm garden hose.  If you are outside the UK, you will also need a plug socket adapter for a UK power plug, however the provided power supply will be compatible with your local power already (110v-240v)

This machine is still being sold as a "kit" rather that fully completed. It's mostly assembled however you need to do the final assembly step (one bolt, plug it in, wizz some stones)

It isn't water proof, cutting stones will throw water everywhere, but it is designed to direct the water in a more useful and less messy manner.

It's not sold with any particular warranties or guarantees. Over time I may be able to offer soemthing more concrete, but I intend to support people in the best way I can.

Big up brap brap.

I've loved using this machine. The hand and wrist position is much better for me. The messages back when sent via messenger have been received well and a quick response time. The machine is boss an I'll use it all the time now. I will be getting any machine that is made by Wellomi. Definitely a cabbing machine. Fegsx

Amazing Machine

Before purchasing the V2.2 I used a vertical Lap however when I seen a friend using this on TikTok I had to order one.

The ability to change the angle of the machine when working is great as let's be honest sitting for extended periods of time can get a bit sore so the ability to stand up change the angle so I can keep working on my stones is a amazing.

You can not get a better machine for the price the ability to change disks is so easy also.

I can not rate this machine highly enough if your thinking of getting one please do you will not need a cabbing machine once you get one of these. They are highly portable also so you can take it with you when on the move unlike a cab king for example.

Customer service is top class Vince can help you customise your machine in so many ways to fill your needs also.

Great product.
Does exactly the job you meed it to do and a fraction of the price of other laps.
Great design allowing you to adjust the angle of the machine up or down where needed with only 1 hand.
Splash guard extension can be a little noisy which was solved with bluetack now runs super quiet :)
The only downside I have found with this lap is the part that screws on to the bottle seems to be slowly crumbling apart. Maybe worth adding a little tape around it to keep it a little more secure.
Will definitely be purchasing more of them.
Great customer service also with quick response.
Having spoken tk the man who makes them he is also looking into a quick swap wheel release to allow you to change grits more easily.

Have not tried the freebie out yet for the cutting disk, but as soon as I get a blade I will be doing so :)
Overall, I was very happy
